Today was a busy, busy day at Angel Acres!
Volunteers galore, lots of brainstorming about fundraising ideas (and WOW do we have an amazing one in the works!) , schooling horses, washing horses, mucking stalls, scrubbing water buckets and painting and decorating lots of shoes for the fair!
Due to the crazy demand we have had in the past couple of years for the decorated horse shoes and our near inability to keep up with demand (Jo bawling at the kitchen table with a hot glue gun and coffee at 2am during the week of the fair does not count as keeping up, pretty funny now though! LOL) in time for the holidays, our store will be open from Sept 19, 2009 till December 10th 2009. That way we can make sure everyone that orders shoes, will get them in time for holiday delivery.
We will also ship direct to a recipient (with a holiday card enclosed) for anyone who would like us to.
Finally, I had planned to post lots of updates tonight, but I can barely keep my eyes open and decided to wait till tomorrow...I am guessing there would be a lot of typos and stuff I would have to fix later! LOL!
