Matties Legacy Fund helps save 3 horses bound for slaughter! We got an email from one of our readers asking for assistance with 3 horses in danger of going to slaughter in NJ...they had raised the funds to buy the horses, but dealer decided to up the... anty an extra $50 per horse!So, we got the email, did some investigating (rescue is VERY reputable & had homes/safe haven for them) and we helped with the remainder they were unable to raise. We couldn't do this without community support!
