Happy Monday! May 9, 2011 - Glenville, PA: Mattie's Legacy Fund - Update! Mattie's Legacy Fund assisted 21 horses in the past 6 weeks - moving horses to safety, feeding horses, providing vet and farrier care. MLF is based in Pennsylvania & has a nationwide outreach. MLF helps keep horses safe in their homes by providing assistance to families going through a financial, health, or other crisis. We listen to and work with horse owners in need; helping to keep horses safe in their homes and out of the slaughter pipeline. We cannot do this life saving work without your help - do you have a horsey skill? Are you vet, a farrier, can you provide temporary foster care or have hay to donate to the fund? Can you make a donation? When they need our help it's on VERY short notice - so we need help your help now to be prepared to provide assistance when the call for help comes in.
