Finish This Important Florida Billboard? What do you think of when you think of Florida? Beaches, sun, sand, glorious times with friends, possibly Jimmy Buffet? You probably don't think of horse slaughter & the illegal horse meat trade... Did you know that horses are being illegally slaughtered in Florida - as well as being legally transported across US borders into Mexico and Canada to be brutally slaughtered for human consumption? . We are writing to ask for your help in getting a very important billboard up in Jupiter, Fl... We have funds to get a board up in Okeechobee, it's a small board with a low traffic rate - but we have just been offered an AMAZING opportunity to get one up in Jupiter, Florida - which is just 88 miles north of Miami (where a lot of illegal horse slaughter goes on) it is a huge 48ft board and has a super high traffic volume, meaning it will be seen by thousands of people each day and night. We are not funded by anyone other than you, our readers and supporters. We need to raise an additional $1850 to cover the Jupiter board...can you help us? This is TOTALLY a grass roots, by our boot straps effort! People cannot fix a problem they are not aware of & many people in the United States do not know thousands of horses are shipped to Mexico and Canada to be slaughtered – DAILY.
