Exciting NEWS for HORSE LOVERS Big thanks to Jan Myers of Missouri - she is sponsoring the first Missouri billboard - you have to wait to see who is sponsoring the second one until this one is done ;o) We will be putting up a “Stop Slaughtering Us” billboard in the Branson area! It will be located along the 65 highway between Springfield & Branson, Missouri. Branson is a hot spot for Country Music entertainment & is a very popular tourist destination. It will be visible to many people, some attending the monthly auctions in Highlandville and Springfield. This location will make a major impact on educating the public regarding the reality that American horses are still going to slaughter. People cannot fix a problem they are not aware of & many people in the United States do not know thousands of horses are shipped to Mexico and Canada to be slaughtered – DAILY. The Angel Acres Anti Horse Slaughter Awareness Campaign is a grassroots effort designed to change that, one driver and one billboard at a time. We receive no federal, state or corporate funding for this awareness and educational effort.
