How Deceptive Can An Online Ad Be? Apparently, VERY!

Newest Rescue is 6 Year Old OTTB Magic! This gelding was brought to our attention by some internet savvy folks who sent me the CraigsList ad for him (since removed). But, you can see the original ad with same picture & info they used for the CL ad - HERE - you will be shocked at the difference. The ad shows a gorgeous, healthy, sound horse...this is what our hauler found when he picked up him last week.... To say we were shocked is an understatemnt. Magic's page on our site is HERE. He is emaciated, covered in rainrot, & was left outside for MONTHS in the weather as the people charged with his care watched him starve (family "friends" that were supposed to be taking care of him because his owner packed up & moved out of state). Yet, through all of that he is still super sweet and very kind.
